Television
Casting down imaginations, and every
high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God,
and bringing into captivity every
thought to the obedience of Christ; (2 Cor 10:5)
Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord,
and the cup of devils:
ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's
table, and of the table of devils. (1 Cor 10:21)
Being filled with all
unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness,
maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity;
whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud,
boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection,
implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they
which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but
have pleasure in them that do them. (Rom 1:29-32)
(A good description of TV and many
who watch it. They have pleasure watching other people sin.)
And shall receive the reward of
unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day
time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own
deceivings while they feast with you; Having eyes full of adultery,
and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they
have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children: (2 Pet
2:13,14)
For if after they have escaped the
pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour
Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the
latter end is worse with them than the beginning. (2 Pet 2:20)
Wherein in time past ye
walked according to the course of this world,
according to the prince of the
power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of
disobedience: (Eph 2:2)
The LORD trieth the righteous: but
the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth. (Ps.
11:5)
Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently
for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way,
because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. (Ps. 37:7)
Wherefore come out from among them,
and be ye separate, saith the Lord,
and touch not the unclean thing; and

Be not deceived; God is not mocked:
