Persecution
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ:for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth;  (Rom 1:16a)

Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth? (Gal 4:16)

And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake:but he that endureth to the end shall be saved. (Matt 10:22)

He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it. (Matt 10:39)

In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me. (Psalm 56:4)

Many are my persecutors and mine enemies; yet do I not decline from thy testimonies. (Psalm 119:157)

And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul:
but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. (Matt 10:28)

For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. (Phil 1:21)

We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed;
we are perplexed, but not in despair;
Persecuted, but not forsaken;
cast down, but not destroyed;
Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus,
that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. (2 Cor 4:8-10)

Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. (Phil 4:4)

So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. (Heb 13:6)

And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither:
the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD. (Job 1:21)

Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. (2 Tim 3:12)

Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord,
nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God; (2 Tim 1:8)

If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us: (2 Tim 2:12)
If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. (John 15:18)

Remember the word that I [Jesus] said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. (John 15:20)

The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil. (John 7:7)

He that hateth me hateth my Father also. (John 15:23)

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared
with the glory which shall be revealed in us. (Rom 8:18)

And he said to them all, If any man will come after me,
 let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it:
but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.
For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?
For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed,
 when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels. (Luke 9:23-26)

We ought to obey God rather than men. (Acts 5:29b)

Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer:
behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried;
and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. (Rev 10:2)

And ye became followers of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Ghost. (1 Thess. 1:6)

Therefore, brethren, we were comforted over you in all our affliction and distress by your faith: (1 Thess 3:7)

Depart from me, ye evildoers:
for I will keep the commandments of my God. (Psalm 119:115)
