Cain and Abel

1 And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.

2 And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.

3 And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD.

4 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:

5 But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.

6 And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?

7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

8 And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.

Genisis Ch 4:1-8

Cain and Abel both believed that they were serving the Lord by their sacrifices. Abel gave the proper sacrifice and was accepted, but Cain gave God something that He didn't want, and was rejected. As a result, Cain became jeaouls of Abel, and murdered him. And why did he kill him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous. His sacrafice was evil, and his brother's was acceptible.

Likewise, the Roman Catholic religion, with its Eucharist wafer god, bowing down and praying to statues, veneration (worship) of saints and Mary, aruccular confessions, sacraments, purgatory, penance, masses and prayers for the dead, putting a "pope" in the place of the Holy Spirit, ect, is offering up an unnaceptible sacrifice to the Lord. The 'mass' is an abomination to God, cliaming to resacrifice His precious Son thousands of times per day, even though Hebrews 10:10-12 says that His sacrifice was but a one time event! Roman Catholics cliam to serve the Lord, but just like Cain, their worship is rejected and abhored by Him. "Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men." Mark 7:7

When the Roman Catholic Church saw the Bible-believing Christians worshipping the Lord in the way that He wanted, and how He was blesshing them, she became very jealous. (She also wanted total control over the peoples' lives, and wanted to discourage any others from converting to Christianity.) So the Roman Catholic religion began systematically exterminating the Bible-believers; those who worshipped the Lord in an accpetpble way. And why did the Catholic Church do this? Because her own works were evil, and the "heretics'" righteous. So you see that the Catholic Church is nothing but a modern day Cain.

For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. Not as Cain [loved Abel], who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous. 1 Jn 3:11,12

Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. . . Jn 8:44

If you are Catholic, pary that God will open your eyes and show you the truth! The 'traditions' that your 'Church' teaches are nothing but lies from the serpent's mouth, but God's word is true (..thy word is truth. Jn 17:17). By saying that salvation is by both FAITH and WORKS, you make a mokery of Christ's finished sacrifice. Come out and trust in Christ alone for your salvation. Salvation isn't by good works and penances; Christ said that His yoke is easy: Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matt 11:28-30.

God says to those in the Roman Catholic instituition: Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partaker of her sins, and that ye recieve not of her plagues. Rev 18:4
